Membership

Annual membership in the Alberta Guild of English Handbell Ringers is open to anyone interested in promoting the objectives of the association and is granted upon receipt of the specified fee. There are two types of membership: Regular and Ringer. A Ringer member must be affiliated with a Regular member.

The benefits of Regular Membership include the following:

• Receive "The Peal" - the official newsletter of ALGEHR.
• Be entitled to attend all Alberta Guild events (membership is required to attend official Guild events).
• Access to all of ALGEHR programs (SEF Grant, Fred Merrett Award for  New Compositions, the John Nelson Sr. Scholarship, and more).
• Receive advanced notice of all ALGEHR sponsored events.
• Receive help from Handbell Experts for any part of your program.
• Access to the Members' Section on the ALGEHR website.
• Be entitled to one vote at the Annual General Meeting.

The benefits of Ringer Membership include all of the above, except the entitlement to one vote at the Annual General Meeting.

Payments can be made online using Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit, Discover Debit, or Amex Debit (preferred), Visa, and Mastercard.

Payments can also be made using using Interac eTransfer (send to treasurer@algehr.org), but please include your name and the reason for the payment in the "Message (optional)" area in eTransfer so we can match up your payment with your membership application or renewal.
